You've seen the doctors. Done the labs. Been told everything looks fine. But you're exhausted by noon, can't lose weight no matter what you try, lying awake at 3am, and watching your sharpness slip away. You know your body. Something is wrong. This workshop gives you the answers your doctor didn't — built around the nine hormone archetypes from the HormoneIQ™ Assessment, so you learn your pattern, not generic advice.
Dr. Natasha Ryan is a licensed naturopathic doctor and functional medicine expert based in Charlotte, NC, specializing in the hormonal complexity that conventional medicine consistently overlooks.
She built the Hormone Workshop because the education gap is enormous. Women are walking out of appointments with no real understanding of what's happening in their bodies, no vocabulary to push back, and no framework to evaluate the advice they're being given.
The workshop changes that. Think of it as 20 years of clinical pattern recognition distilled into six modules — and delivered directly to you.
You eat well. You exercise. You've cut alcohol, added supplements, tried every protocol you've read about. And still — the weight won't move, the sleep won't come, the energy is gone, and the woman you used to be feels like a distant memory.
You've been dismissed. Told your labs are "normal." Handed an antidepressant or a sleep aid and sent home. Maybe you've even started to wonder if it's just stress, or aging, or something you have to accept.
It's not. Your symptoms are real. They have a root cause. And they are fixable — when you understand what's actually going on with your hormones.
See What You'll LearnYou crash during the day and lie awake at 3am with your mind racing. You wake up unrefreshed even after 8 hours. You've been told it's stress. It's not just stress.
Especially around your middle. You're eating less than ever and the scale keeps climbing. Your clothes don't fit. You feel like your own body is betraying you.
You're forgetting words mid-sentence. Losing your train of thought. Making mistakes you never used to make. It's affecting your confidence at work and at home.
You snap at people you love. You feel anxious for no reason. You cry without knowing why. You don't feel like yourself — and you haven't for a long time.
But your TSH is "fine." Your estrogen is "fine." You're "fine." Except you're not fine — and you know it. You're tired of being dismissed and you want real answers.
The ambition that used to define you has quietly disappeared. You're going through the motions. You miss who you were — and you want her back.
The workshop begins before Module 1. Your first step is the free 3-minute HormoneIQ™ Assessment, which identifies your primary archetype — the hormonal pattern driving your symptoms. That archetype becomes your personal map through all six modules: the labs that reveal your pattern, the systems that drive it, and the plan that corrects it. Every archetype has a home here.
Running on output for years — until the stress system that carried you starts billing you for it. Exhausted, depleted, done.
Tired all day, wide awake at night. Your cortisol curve is running upside down — and your energy, sleep, and mood run with it.
Everything is slower — metabolism, energy, thinking. "Normal" TSH doesn't mean an optimal thyroid, and you can feel the difference.
Heavy periods, tender breasts, mood swings that arrive on schedule. Estrogen isn't being cleared the way it should be.
The rules changed and nobody told you. Fluctuating estrogen and falling progesterone are rewriting your sleep, mood, and metabolism.
Your gut is where hormones get processed, recycled, and cleared. When it struggles, your hormones struggle with it.
Energy that rises and crashes with meals, cravings that argue back, and midsection weight that ignores every diet.
Past the transition, but not past the symptoms. Low hormones across the board call for a rebuild — done deliberately.
Calm on the outside, spinning on the inside. Your built-in calming hormone is running low — and your nights know it first.
Already know your archetype? Jump straight to enrollment.
And every time something doesn't work, it gets a little harder to believe that anything will. Here's what I hear from women before they find the workshop:
Nothing failed because you failed. Things failed because no one looked at your hormones — the full picture — the right way. That's what this workshop changes.
Everything you were never taught about your hormones — organized into a clear, evidence-based curriculum you can actually use.
The foundations most doctors skip. How your sex hormones, thyroid, adrenals, and metabolic hormones talk to each other — and why a problem in one cascades into all the others.
FoundationsWhat standard panels measure, what they miss, and how to interpret results using optimal ranges — not just "not diseased" ranges. You'll never look at a lab report the same way.
Lab LiteracyWhat's actually happening during perimenopause, why symptoms start years before your period stops, and what the evidence says about hormone therapy options.
Sex HormonesHow chronic stress hijacks thyroid function, how to recognize adrenal dysregulation, and why treating just the thyroid without addressing cortisol almost always fails.
Thyroid + StressWhy hormonal imbalance makes fat loss nearly impossible — and the specific levers (insulin, cortisol, estrogen) that have to be addressed before any diet or exercise plan will work.
MetabolismHow to take everything you've learned and create a clear, prioritized action plan — including what questions to ask your provider and when to seek specialized clinical support.
Your Next StepMost women leave their doctor's appointments with more questions than answers. The HormoneIQ™ Workshop flips that. You'll walk away knowing exactly what's happening, what to ask for, and what to do next.
The HormoneIQ™ Workshop is a powerful first step — but it's education, not clinical care. If you want advanced testing, a personalized clinical protocol, and direct access to Dr. Ryan as your practitioner, that's what 1:1 packages are for.
Workshop graduates receive priority booking and a discounted first consultation.
Explore 1:1 Packages →1:1 packages are clinical engagements — not included in workshop enrollment. Workshop graduates receive priority access and a discounted discovery call.
"I had been to my OB, my GP, and an endocrinologist. All three told me my labs were normal. I knew something was wrong. After Module 2 alone I understood more about my hormones than I had in 10 years of appointments."
"I gained 20 pounds in a year doing everything right. My doctor said to eat less and exercise more. This workshop explained exactly why that advice was making things worse — and what was actually happening in my body."
"I thought the brain fog and exhaustion were just part of getting older. I was 43. After this workshop I realized I'd been in perimenopause for years and no one had ever told me. I cried. Then I got to work."
If you're a health coach, personal trainer, nutritionist, nurse, or wellness practitioner working with women over 35, you already know this conversation. She's doing everything you've given her and nothing is moving. Her labs came back "normal." She's exhausted, gaining weight around the middle, not sleeping — and the plan that works for everyone else isn't working for her.
That's not a compliance problem. It's a hormone problem. And most practitioner training programs spend almost no time on it.
You can see something hormonal is happening, but you don't have the framework to name which system is driving it — or which of your usual tools will backfire in that context.
She hands you a panel and asks what you think. You can see the numbers are in range. You can't tell her why she still feels terrible, or what's missing from the panel entirely.
Or how to frame it. Referring well requires knowing what you're referring for — and being able to help her ask for it once she gets there.
Most practitioners in this field are women in the same transition. Understanding your own pattern isn't a side benefit — it's often what makes the material click.
This workshop will not make you a clinician, and it does not certify you to diagnose, order labs, or treat. That's deliberate — and it's the point. The practitioners who get into trouble are the ones who don't know where their edges are. What this gives you is the understanding to recognise what you're looking at, work confidently and appropriately within your scope, and know exactly when and how to hand off. Coaching a woman well through a hormonal transition and staying in your lane are not in tension. They require the same knowledge.
A live training built specifically for practitioners — the science underneath each archetype, how to reason through a client's pattern, where your scope ends, and how to talk about this work so the right clients find you. Includes the Practitioner Workbook, a ready-to-deliver talk, social content, a directory listing, and a referral pathway for cases beyond your scope.
Every enrollment starts the same way: the free HormoneIQ™ Assessment identifies your archetype, and your archetype becomes your map through all six modules. All three tiers include the full curriculum and downloadable worksheets. Upgrade anytime.
Optional add-on: license the HormoneIQ™ Assessment for your practice — annual fee, so your client work is built on the nine archetypes.
The HormoneIQ™ Workshop is an educational program — not clinical care. You'll learn how hormones work, how to read labs, and how to advocate for yourself, but this is not a substitute for working with a practitioner. If you're ready for personalized clinical care — advanced testing, your own protocol, direct access to Dr. Ryan — that's what our 1:1 packages are for.
They're interactive lessons you work through in your browser — not videos to sit and watch. Each module contains ten lessons with illustrated diagrams, knowledge checks that tell you whether the material actually landed, and a fillable worksheet that saves your answers as you type. Lessons unlock as you read, so you move through in order rather than skipping ahead and losing the thread. Every module also has a read-aloud mode: press play and it reads the lesson to you, highlighting each line as it goes, so you can listen while you're driving, walking, or cooking and still know exactly where you are. Everything works on a phone, tablet or laptop, and your progress saves automatically. Nothing to download or install.
No — it's built in as Step One. The assessment is free, takes three minutes, and you can take it before or right after you enroll. It identifies your primary archetype, which becomes your map through the curriculum: all six modules apply to every woman, but each archetype has two "home modules" where her pattern is covered in depth (shown on the archetype cards above), and you'll build your Module 6 action plan around your specific archetype.
A kit is an archetype's starting protocol — what to do first, in a box. The workshop is the education underneath it: why your pattern developed, how to read the labs that track it, how the nine systems interact, and how to build and adjust your own plan over time. Kit owners consistently say the workshop is where the kit "clicked." Don't have a kit yet? You don't need one to enroll — the workshop stands on its own.
They aren't two different curricula — the live tier includes the full six-module course. The difference is what you get on top of it: a focused two-hour virtual session with Dr. Ryan, with live Q&A and real-time interaction. Most women work through the modules first and bring their specific questions to the session, which is where the material tends to land properly. If you'd rather move entirely at your own pace, the self-paced course stands on its own.
Live sessions run virtually on a quarterly rhythm, so you can join from anywhere. When you enroll in the Course + Live Session tier, upcoming dates are emailed to you as they're scheduled, and you'll get first choice of seat — seats are capped deliberately, because the point of a live session is that you can actually ask your question and get it answered. If you'd like to know the next date before enrolling, email drryan@drnatasharyan.com and we'll tell you where things stand.
Very much so — it's one of the reasons the Practitioner Training tier exists. If you work with women over 35, you are already seeing hormone problems whether or not anyone has named them: the client whose weight won't move, whose energy crashed, whose labs came back "normal." Most coaching and training certifications spend very little time on the endocrine system and almost none on the perimenopausal transition. This gives you the framework to recognize what you're looking at, understand which of your standard recommendations help or backfire in each pattern, read the labs your clients bring you, and refer precisely when something is outside your scope. Many practitioners also tell me the personal benefit came first — they're women in the same transition, and understanding their own pattern is what made the clinical material click.
Everything in the self-paced course, plus a four-hour live training on Zoom built specifically for practitioners: the science underneath each archetype, how to reason through a client's pattern, where your scope ends and how to hand off well, and how to talk about this work so the right clients find you. You also receive the Practitioner Workbook — deeper science, clinical reasoning, and case walkthroughs — a client-facing marketing kit with a ready-to-deliver talk and social content, a listing in the practitioner directory, and a direct referral pathway to me for cases beyond your scope. Trainings run in small cohorts so there is real time for your questions.
No, and I'd be cautious of anyone who claims a course can. This is professional education, not certification, and it does not qualify you to diagnose, order labs, prescribe, or treat. What it does is give you the understanding to work confidently and appropriately within your existing scope — and, just as importantly, to recognize the edges of it. In my experience the practitioners who get into difficulty aren't the ones who know too little; they're the ones who never learned where their limits were. Knowing when to refer, and being able to help your client ask for the right things once she gets there, makes you more valuable rather than less. Graduates may describe themselves as trained in the HormoneIQ™ Method.
Yes — through an annual license, available to Practitioner Training graduates. Licensing lets you build your client work around the nine archetypes: your clients take the assessment, you receive their result, and your programming starts from a named pattern rather than a blank page. The license includes ongoing updates to the assessment and refreshed marketing materials, and it's renewed yearly. Licensing is separate from training enrollment; we'll walk through the details on your training call.
None at all. The workshop is designed for women — not clinicians. Dr. Ryan built it specifically to translate the complexity of functional medicine into clear, actionable language that anyone can use. If you've ever felt lost in a doctor's appointment, this workshop is the foundation you were missing.
Workshop graduates receive priority access and a discounted discovery call for Dr. Ryan's 1:1 clinical packages. After completing the workshop you'll have a clear sense of what you need clinically — and you'll be a far more informed patient when you get there. Book your discovery call directly through Calendly.
You didn't end up here by accident. Something in you knows there's more to this than what you've been told. The HormoneIQ™ Workshop was built for exactly that woman — the one who refuses to accept "normal" when nothing about how she feels is normal.
